Description

Even though this has been captured by many, the Pleiades are one of the most beautiful star clusters we can observe in the night sky of our Northern Hemisphere.

These stars belong to the B-type (also known as blue giants) and are 10 times larger than our Sun.In addition to their beauty, the Pleiades hold a special place in Greek mythology. It is said that these stars were the daughters of Atlas and Pleione, transformed into stars to escape the hunter Orion.I captured this image on September 24th from Àger, under one of Catalonia's best skies 🔭110x120" = 3h 20min RGB
